At this point, your installation of MixCast should have an activated license and should be ready to create your first Virtual Camera, which is the term MixCast uses for a perspective of the immersive experience, either on its own or ‘mixed’ with a physical video input.
Clicking the “Open Preferences” button will open the Preferences window to the Virtual Cameras section.

Since this installation hasn’t been configured yet, you should see the following page:
Clicking the “Add Camera” button will create your first Virtual Camera configuration.
CONFIGURING YOUR CAMERA
It’s now time to make a decision about your camera: Do you want it to capture a purely virtual perspective of the scene or one that incorporates the user from a physical video input device? If you’ve chosen the first type of camera, you can proceed directly to the Alignment and Tracking page; otherwise you need to configure which video input to ‘mix’ into the camera’s view under the Mixing subsection:
You’ve selected the device that you’re combining with the virtual scene, but there are still a few parameters that need to be set. Proceed to the Alignment and Tracking page for next steps.
