MixCast sports a range of supported video inputs, with specific functionality available depending on the source type:

  • Generic Webcams and Capture Cards – Devices that are natively supported by Windows and appear as possible inputs for software like Skype, etc. All webcams and most capture cards fall under this category, as well as some software sources.
  • Depth Cameras – Devices that provide a depth map with each frame, including the Intel RealSense D400 line, Kinect Azure, and starting in 2.4.1, ZED cameras.
  • BlackMagic DeckLink – Internal capture cards with advanced capabilities including SDI connectivity.

Note: If you’re trying to determine if your device is supported, the Supported Hardware page will likely give you the most straightforward answer.
